My project is finally complete...well not really since my plans are to make a book, but that can wait awhile. Before Hayden was born I had a goal to take a picture of her on a yard of fabric each week for the first year, hence the name Project 52 Weeks. I wasn't sure what to expect and it took a while for me to get the hang of where to shoot her for the best lighting etc. Then after about week 8 she was great, she would smile and ham it up for me, I tried to capture her and what she was doing that particular week (ex. taking a passy, loving her toy, sucking her toes and so on). Then on week 47 everything changed, she did not want to lay on her back for the picture this girl wanted to MOVE. I'm sure you can tell by the photos, but these last 6 weeks were the most challenging part of this project at times she was very unhappy with me but I did my best. I'm one of those people who rarely sticks with some long term take my record for dieting as an example, but I managed to stick with this project and I'm so happy I did! I will cherish these photos documenting her first year forever! ENJOY!!!

What an amazing video! I'm so impressed that you kept up with it. She is going to love looking at that when she is older. She's so precious!
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool. You are gonna be so glad you have these later on in life. They grow so fast that first year and you get to see it a week at a time.
